Doctor-led aesthetic care in Newark‑on‑Trent. Considered, clinical and close to home.
Opened in Newark in 2023. Doctor-led, evidence-based, and honest, including about the treatments that are unlikely to deliver what you are hoping for.
Eleven years advising clinics. Then we opened one.
Before opening on London Road, Lydia Griffin spent more than a decade helping other clinics get it right. As a trainer and clinical consultant for ZO Skin Health and CoolSculpting, she worked with over a hundred aesthetic practices across the UK, shaping protocols, raising clinical standards, building the infrastructure that separates the practices patients return to from the ones they quietly stop visiting. She understood, clinic by clinic, what that difference actually looked like. It was rarely the equipment.
In 2023 she stopped advising and started doing. The London Road Clinic was built to the standard she had spent years helping others reach: doctor-led from the outset, with a philosophy of honesty that extends to telling patients, when it is the right answer, that a treatment is unlikely to deliver what they are hoping for. That clinical foundation is held by Dr Shahe Boghossian, Medical Consultant, whose background in vascular surgery brings a level of anatomical rigour that aesthetic medicine rarely commands. Based in Newark, because people in Nottinghamshire deserved access to that standard without a two-hour round trip.
The team was chosen with the same intent. Exceptional credentials, certainly. But the deeper criterion was something harder to articulate on a CV: the kind of maturity and genuine care that changes the atmosphere of a room. The belief here is straightforward. If the people behind every appointment love coming to work, patients will love being treated there. So the obsession, consistently, is with outcomes: with feedback, with the evolving techniques, treatments and devices that represent the honest best of what aesthetic medicine can deliver. Not what looks most impressive in a campaign. What works, for each specific person, every time.
Clinical rigour without clinical distance.
Aesthetic medicine done well is exacting work. The difference between a good outcome and an average one is rarely the treatment itself. It is the assessment before it, the clinical judgement behind it, and the honesty throughout.
Evidence-based treatment planning
Every recommendation rests on clinical evidence, not trends. We explain the biology, cite our sources and tell you what is likely to work. And what is not. There is no upselling.
Doctor-led clinical governance
Dr Shahe Boghossian, GMC-registered physician, oversees all prescribing, clinical protocols and advanced injectable procedures. Medical oversight is not a checkbox. It is the foundation of every appointment.
Honest consultations: no pressure
Your clinician will tell you what they would recommend if you were a family member. That includes being honest when the right answer is to wait, try a different treatment, or do nothing at all.
The people behind your care.
